reinstalling my hubs for my d60, i got a problem...

    well, the wheel beering nuts, the first one with the grove that the washer fits over to stop it from spinning, that little groove broke off, is it still ok to use this nut? if not who carrys this nut because i need my truck running by tomorow morning...

    You CAN use it but I would pick up some nuw wheel nuts ASAP...

    I agree slap it back to gether 4 now but keep a REAL CLOSE eye on it and if your wheel starts to shimmy or wabble
    carry the special scocket wioth ya and just sticka plastic bag in the hoole so ya can get to it fast and easy till ya get the new special nut contact warn as they include them in the premium hub locks they sell ya might even have to buy the new hub locks complete to get em make sure ya check the box first so sombody else didnt snag em
    also i think the dealer still sells em also

    aparantly the nuts had a little dowell in there and thats what chipped, and i was able to punch it out a little more so it will work.

    GM still sells that stuff. I had to get one and it cost me under $10 I think (it's been about a year or so since) My D60 was missing one of those nuts, the outer one I think.

    Go to napa. They sell the complete kit with the nuts and the washer that goes between.................
