reman'ed q-jets

    reman\'ed q-jets

    are the remanufactured q-jets from some place like advance auto parts ok? the price quoted was around $150 w/ exchange. i'm wanting to swap out the holley 600 cfm on my 350.

    i don't know about the one's from advanced auto, but i have had several remamufacted carbs from theses guys and they are great. http://www.nationalcarburetors.com/

    150 seems like a really good price, but you would want to go to a junkyard and get a q-jet for the exchange. Or better yet, find a good core at the junkyard and remanufacture it yourself. One recent issue of fourwheeler has a q-jet article and rebuilding them. Its really not that bad in my own personal experience.
