removable hinge pin pics

    here are some pics of my removable hinge pins. When making them i took the inner part of the hinge and welded a piece of pipe stock that had an I/D of 3/8th in-between the two tabs and for the outer part i reamed out the holes to 3/8th. too connect them i use a grade 8 bolt some washers a lock nut and some grease. take a <a target="_blank" href=http://coloradok5.com/gallery/albup24>look</a>

    My 74 looks just like yours in picture 6. I have the front clip completely removed so I can swap in my 496!!

    the problem with the bad engine was, the fawken harmonic balancer broke off the the crank and distroyed the end off the crank, all this and it only had 17k on it and falken a##holes [​IMG]who installed the motor shut closed the shop two weeks after they finished it, so much for the 18 month warrenty (stupid on my part for not doing it my self to begin with). Well anyways i just installed a new crank and put the same block back in[​IMG]. it's been almost two years now and runs like a champ
