The 76-91 tops weigh just a hair under 180 pounds. Myself and a couple others on the board have weighed 'em...

Dunno for sure, but I do know that I used to take them off of my '79 and my '84 by myself. The one on my '74 is another story....heavy sumbitch I tell ya! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

If it has the sliding side windows it is like 188lbs. But I would still get help taking it off and putting it on. It can be done with one person, but why when it is SSOOOO much easier with 2 (or even 3 /forums/images/icons/wink.gif )

A buddy and myself just pulled mine last week, I would strongly recoommend that a second pair of hands is helpful if you are just carryying it off, both to not scrathc up your rails by dragging it and for helping to get it off the alignment dowels. Other than that i would have to agee that it is right in the 180-190 range.
