    Hello,
Does any one know how to remove the steering wheel from a 1978 K5 Blazer. I have removed the horn cover, taken off the little bronze clip, removed the large nut, taken out the 3 screws, but the wheel will still not come off. Any ideas , what am I missing?

    Thanks, Mike

You are going to need to rent a steering wheel puller. Or if you have a large 2 jaw puller that will work.

    Done! Made homemade puller

While waiting, I broke out the Chilton repair book. It showed you how to make a homemade steering wheel puller with a piece of steel and some bolts. I had the wheel off in like 15min. That was cool! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
