Ive read that its hard to acheive foward and reverse flight. How true is this? If its able to do so then I am definitely getting one now. Talk about fun tormenting animals and people with that thing

Once you get the proper weight distribution, they are real fun.

    Repost? Stop the Insanity!!!

How can it be a repost if this is the first one that he has bought? Aren't we stretching the limits of the repost statute? I think that perhaps the Repost Police are overstepping their jurisdiction. I mean what's next. Each person that buys a new truck can't talk about it because it's a Repost of buying a truck. Or what happens with the next build thread? Nope can't post it because someone else has already done a build thread. Stop the abuse, Stop the insanity, Stop the Man before his power is too great. This is the classic example of a slippery slope and I for one am not willing to watch the brotherhood slide to its demise. Take the power back to the people.

I posted up about these a little while back, my kid got one and we have had a blast with it, they do make a newer one that looks way cooler but it's twice as much but it you want forward motion on this model they give you weights for the front and if thats not enough we stuck a thumb tack in the nose that worked awsome.
They are pretty delicate though but you will get $30 of fun out of them...

It says they last about 8 minutes on a full charge, how long does it take to charge back up to continue the fun?

So overall you guys would say this thing is worth buying? I intend on annoying roomates and animals with it...

Takes about 20 mins. to charge and they are really only meant for inside flight.

if you point the tail rotor down a little bit it gives it forward momentum, you jus gotta find where you like it, it only has a 2 channel radio but it works for inside

i thought there was another thread about the "reflex" that comes with a 3 channel radio and some forward/reverse propellers, but its like twice as much

they call it havok heli because thats what you will cause in your house, on a charge i usualy get like 15 min of flying because flying is mixed with fishing it from behind furniture
