Hey all, I just removed my 2" body lift from my 74 K5. IT has at auto trans (th350) and now the shifter needs to be adjusted. How do I go about doing this? Anyone ever done this before. Also, the 2" body lift is for sale for $20. Its less than 3 months old.

Remove the shifter rod and take out 2" of it, then re-weld it together. Where were you a few months ago when I was looking to buy a 2" body lift for mine ? Why are you taking it out ? Just curious.

Thats the only way? No adjustment?
I'm taking it out cause there is too much body flex as I wheel it hard on the boulders. Also the COG (center of gravity) is a little better with the bodylift off.

Maybe we can meet this weekend so I can check them out. E-mail me and we'll exchange numbers.
