    I had a 87'sh S-10 Blazer given to
me minus the 4.3 engine. I am going
to use the Blazer mainly for spare
body parts. In exchange for the free
blazer, the man wants me to remove
and take back the wiring harness
and computer that goes with the 4.3
Is this going to be difficult and what
do I need to look for. I am going to
    pick it up tonight.

Probably going to be a nightmare under the dash.
If you don't need the interior stuff, it's probably 75% plastic, you can just break it out of the way. Real problem will be the fuse panel. I'm only guessing, but if he needs the fuse panel too (going to fit it to another vehicle or just replace a cut harness?) you are in for quite a bit of work. Most of the harnesses are all tied together, and although they unplug, there is no simple way to retrofit the "plugs" to another fuse panel, since the fuses are all different. (both amperage and what ignition position they work in)

Look at the engine bay, if any wires are cut off, just tell the guy, and he probably won't want it anymore. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
