ok.....im pulling the t.p.i. setup off of a 86 z-28. i need to know in what order does the setup come off? do you unbolt the top/tubes first and then the fuel runners? or does it matter? i know just about nothing about this setup so any info is helpful. is there any secret ways of getting it all off in one peice? can you remove the top and the runners together? please give me info a.s.a.p. .........well....back to pulling the wiring....thanks...tmanofcali

Hey todd you should be able to just take off the fuel lines and the radiator hose and the take the Marked wires to the sensors and then unbolt the intake and take it off un plug the ecm and take it out from the eng side (wire harness)

Remove the throttle body from the plenum (10 mm socket), then remove the top runner-to-plenum bolts (4 per side if I remember right, use a Torx 40 or 45), remove plenum. Then remove the lower runner-to-intake bolts (think they are T-40 or 45), then you can pull the manifold off. That should do it............and you shouldn't have to remove the fuel rail at all until you want to pull things apart.
