If you want quality, go GM. Check out http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/...they are supposed to have good prices. I'm going LMC myself for a couple fenders, though...

Don't know how it is where you live, but here in metro detroit area i just called some body shops and asked where they got there panels from. i found a supplier about 10 miles from me, also i didnt have to pay shipping since they stocked the parts. of course theres always gm dealers.

Go with body parts from GM. I picked up a couple of aftermarket doors and even though they are CAPA certified (meaning that these are what insurance companies will only use) they don't have the same body lines. It might be more expensive by a factor of 4 or 5 to go with GM parts but I highly recommend it.

I got my fenders at Action Body Panels in redford/detroit. They are off 8 mile road just before telegraph. 313-534-7500. The fenders fit perfect but in inner fender needed a hammer to fit but its still ok. Prices were ok since no shipping, i think like $75.00, i don't kow about doors since mine are fine but they do have them. hope this helps.

Sherman and Associates on Groesbeck is another MI local place. Descent prices and real nice fit. Plus, they advertise in lots of magazines. So, they are somewhat well known.

Don't know about the quality, but JCWhitney has low prices. Thanks kumma for the one in Detroit, may have to make the 3 hour trip to save on freight when it comes time.
