Replacement latches for slider windows

    Just an FYI....Replacement locking latch assemblies for slider windows are still available through GM dealers. The part number is 465203, and they are $17.95 ea. I got a set for my '78...Was surprised that they are still available.

    Prices like that are why I seldom darken the door of a GM dealer parts department. They could sell a lot of stuff if they were competitive with other parts outlets. I'd pay a little more for the GM part, but not 10 times what the part cost them! /forums/images/icons/mad.gif

    You can also purchase an aftermarket one from your local auto parts store in the "Help" isle. Those are only like $3.00. That's where I got mine.

    Same here. They sent me whole mess for free.
