Replacement Stock Springs, Where to buy, Who\'s the best?

Okay, I wanna buy some stock replacement front springs for my rig. I purchased some rear ones last year from Rough Country. They seemed okay but I'm not really sure if they were any better than the stock ones I had, which were sagging ass pretty good. The new ones didn't make much of a difference either.

I would like to find something in a OEM quality build but not OEM price. What should I look for in a good spring?

I found some on JCWhitney.com from a company that makes them in Mexico..but that makes me wonder about the quailty of them.

    Thanks,
    Mav

Just lift it. You can get very good quality springs in the aftermarket lift springs.

If you're dead set on NOT lifting it, JC Whitney is the only place I know that sells springs. A local spring shop could help you too.

I want to get it stock fitted first, then later I'll entertain the idea of the 2 1/2" lift. I just would like to fit the beast in the garage at this point. Our new house is almost finished, then I'll see how the beast fits in the new garage. I like to keep her safe inside, not all neglected outside where those nasty birds and poop all over her. Damned birds! lol

If you are lookign to lift it in the near future, just stick with what you have now, don't waste your money.
If you want to stay stock like some people do, then your best bet is JCWhitney.

My truck still fit in the garage on 4" and 35s. I bet it would have still fit at 6".

    At 9" and 38.5s it's hopeless though. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

How tall is your opening for your garage?

I guess I'll have to see what kind of fitment I get when the house is finished. I only had about 3" in the old house we had, but then again that was an old house and I never measured the clearance.

I bought a pair of add a leafs for the rear of my truck, brought it back up to stock height no problem, were cheap, and it still sits where it did when I installed them a year or so ago.

I already replaced the rear springs, I'm looking for a different company than I used for the rear ones. I want military wrap, and not recycled crap steel like some companies are using.
