I want to replace my front axle seals on my 87 Blazer.

I went to the buy the axle seals at the Chevy parts store and ran into a problem, the seals are not shown in the parts illustration.

Could someone tell me where the front axle seals are located within the the axle? also how do I remove the old axle seals?

I would really appreiciate any advice, thanks!

Not a fun job. They are on both sides of the diff. You have to remove the axleshafts and the diff to replace them.

Gotta take the ENTIRE front end apart to get to 'em. They press into the diff housing, from the inside. $10 worth of parts. A half day of wrenching. [IMG]
