Anyone know if it is possible to replace a rear upper drivers side shock mount without having to remove the gas tank on a 1985 full size Blazer. Mine broke off a few weeks ago and I was going to try and weld the broken piece back on, but I must have thrown the piece out by accident.....thanks

It is possible. You will have to get a new mount from a dealer, I paid about $9 for mine. Just clean up the area around the mount and weld it on. You may want to squirt some water on the top of the tank before and after you weld.
