replacing steering gear box..

    well i finally got my income tax today and im gonna replace my steering gear box cuz its leaking like theres no tomorrow...are they easy to do or what? never done it, so kind of confused?! plus i noticed today, that it seems like a seal on the passenger side, where the axle and the wheel meet right there (sorry dont know what its called) but u know u can put grease or something in them right there..its leaking, what is that?

    I tried to replace the one on my dodge a long time ago. It came off easy except for the pitman arm, broke a pitman arm puller, then had to take it in and the shop used a torch on it and it came right off. So if you have access to a torch you might want to get it.
