replacing windshield frame and drip rail

    does anyone any one have any advice on replacing the upper wind shield post and drip rail on our blazers. mine's a 70 with a lot off rust. in fact the drip rail came off with the hard top. i have a good parts cab and i am just looking for a little advice before i start cutting and welding. thanx in advance

    I recommend using one off a blazer instead of a truck though. I couldn't find one off of a Blazer anywhere that wasn't rusted as bad as mine so I got one off of a truck in Texas. I prayed and measured a few times and cut it with a sawzall. Ended up working well but it sure was a lot of work. /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif
