Resetting the brake light?

    did a search, came across something close to it, but nothing about acutally how to reset the brake light-. 92 k2500, blew out a hard line, light came on. Replaced the hard line and what not, but cant get that light to disappear.

    Someone point me in the right direction? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

    Disconect the battery for a min. this should reset the light /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    If that doesn't work disconnect the the top plug from the black box next to the mc, turn the key on, but do not start, for 30 sec, shut off, reconnect the plug, should clear the brake light.

    also on the front there is a black cover that behind it is a pin that you can push in to turn it off also...IIRC it is on the Proportioning valve front below that wirer plug
