The time is coming where I'll change my gears. What kind of reputation does geniune gear have on thier parts...as compared to richmond gear? Has anyone ordered ring and pinions from 4Wheel Parts? Who has the best prices on these parts? Where should I order?

By the way. I've got a motor head hear that is going to charge me $150 for the rear and $200 for the front. I just supply the parts.

I like Richmond or Precision gear... why save $20 on a cheapie gear? I'd personally would by from Drivetrain Direct
( http://www.drivetraindirect.com ) Their service and prices are excellent. Otherwise summit or Jeg's... 4WPW is just crap. I wish I never bought tires from them especially since National is buy 3-get 1 free [IMG]

What went wrong with your wheels and tires from 4wheel parts crunch?

Just tires.... 4 35's... well first when they did the promotion they jacked up the price like 25 bucks each... National is still at 140 ea... then when it's all said and done the d@mn things cost 160 bucks in shipping!!!! WTF!!! From KC to MN for four tires... yeah it was some weight, but not a D60 or axle and they are about 125 or so. Heck my big block and crank weighed in at about 300 and it was shipped for $100 from CA, Same price for my drag car's 12B a few years back... overall I didn't save jack crap... When the tires showed there was no price on the receipt or nothing... guy on the phone didn't even tell me... said he didn't know on the shipping... so a week ago when my credit card came the bill was $650 !!! Overall it all seems shady to me and pisted me off... I wouldn't order from them unless I really had to. Plus have heard they have a history... wish I knew National was gonna run the deal again. Maybe 160 bucks for a stupid one day drive from KC to MN is standard, but then I would of just gotten BF MT's here for 130 ea.... But overall I just feel they are dishonest... [IMG] I would pay more elsewhere just to avoid them.
