right carb for altitude

    i just got a 73 k5 350 cid auto trans 4wd from
    seattle and have a edlebrock carb #1407 750 cfm on a edelebrock manifold I live at 8500 feet and want to know do i need a smaller carb or just rejetting

    Quadrajet would be best....but 600-650 cfm, a calibration kit and a little more timing would work.

    Rejetting should get you there. Is it the Carter style? or is it the Q-jet style?

    Throttle Body Fuel Injection works great at high altitudes and steep inclines...not sure how expensive a changover would be.
