I heard it but hadn't seen. Some guy had to swim out of the temprary trailer they left in front of his ruined home. He had taped his belongings to his body.

I'l be damned if i would live in a trailer there right now. A dry docked boat, maybe. A trailer, no way. :eek1:

The trailer might not be too bad if it had large pontoons and an outboard. :D

Oh Great, now we'll have white trash floating around the res.

So the saying would become: swim through the trailer park with a dollar and see what jumps in.

Instead of a old hound dog and a truck you'd have a giant carp and a used pool lounger.

Friends wife just got back yesterday. He said her truck was covered in them kind of flies that swarm around dead things. She had to wash alot of them out of the radiator once cause the truck was gettin' hot. She helped in cleaning up some shelters for people/pets till they suggested leaving cause of the threat from rita. Said the air smelled of dead. People were hauling off all kinds of ruined furnature and other household things by the truck loads. Everything covered in a layer of cruddy mud. Just to may get covered over agian. I think this is a sign to leave it as lake orleans.
