I am putting together my plans for this weekend. Taking a road trip to Portland/Salem area then down to the San Francisco Bay, CA area then back thru Central Oregon to Richland, WA. Leaving Friday morning early.

    Planned Stops:

    Portland, OR:
    Shannon to pick up seats
    Maybe pickup tires from Cornfed
Troy, can I stop by your work and drop off your wrench/pickup the backing plates?

    Beaverton, OR:
    Drop off '68 Pontiac

That is still in the frame in Central Oregon right now. I am going from Richland, WA straight to Portland and wont be able to pick up the housing first. I am now starting to plan another trip to MN around Jan 30-31 so I can pick up the 5.13 centersection for you on that trip. Then we should be able to get together with all the parts at once after that. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

No problem, when do you figure that you'll be rolling through? I have to work Friday and Saturday, I can make sure they're where you get them though. Let me know.

I will be going thru Portland on Friday morning. May be easier for me to stop by your work and grab the parts out of the of your truck and leave the wrench for you. That is if you work near one of the highways on my way across to beaverton?

PM me directions to where you work if that would work /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Other than forgeting the map to T-Roy's work and his phone #, bending a trailer axle, bending a rim, and going thru 3 tires it was a normal road trip for me. After loading up a truck near salem and heading south it was very clear I wasnt going to make San Fran. with a bent trailer axle. Ended up pulling the axle off the trailer in Roseburg and getting it straightened in a press Saturday morning. Plus had to buy a couple more tires.

Made it down to S.F. area Sunday morning and back to Bend late that evening. I spent monday morning loading up parts to bring up from Central OR to WA and cleaning up the mess from a broken pipe in the house in Bend. Good thing I left the carpet cleaner down there. Now I just need to figure out how to get the oil furnace started back up to help finish drying everything out.
