I used to like mud....now I don't. Too much work to clean it out from everywhere.

Rock crawling/trail(ing /forums/images/icons/confused.gif ) is more technical IMO so I enjoy it more. You get better scenery too

I love running the trails around here, but I'm not into the big rock crawling events. I do like to do some mudding, but not where ya bury yer truck up to the hood. I'm mostly into just running trails. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

I think I've nearly done it all except extreme rocks, from the southern buckshot, sand, rivers, mountains, from the different states I've lived in. I like to take a drive up into the mountains here and hit some old logging roads till I get to the top just for the scenery. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Muddin all the way. There is nothing like hearing all pistons and all of your ponies screaming while you are going through some slop. Getting dirty is half the fun. Breaking parts on the rocks is to expensive for me. Yes it is more technical but not as much fun as smashing the pedal.

I break or wreck way more stuff in the mud than I ever do on the rocks and trails...
If mud is part of the trail than so be it...but I don't go looking for it. I'd like to try some more extreme rocks like in Moab, the rocks we have here are mostly wet, slippery and covered in moss and stuff. Rocks with gription would be cool.

As for body damage, around here it's trees and stuff more than the rocks that getcha.

MUD MUD MUD. Mainly because I am too careless for rockcrawling. Also, the only rocks in Nebraska are the ones in gravel.

anyone without skill and some horse power (even a 2WD) can do mud.

Rocks is where the real men play.

Mud is about the only thing we have here, and lots of it. Gotta love Florida. We don't even have any descent hills let alone mountains to climb, haha. Getting across a bottomless swamp is a little on the challenging side but I think it depends more on equipment than pure skill. Aim and shoot, then pray you go the direction you intended 'cause you can't stop in the middle or you will need to helo-lift your rig out /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif (suction).
