rock slider mounts

    does any one have any pics or ideas on how to mount some to the frame. I made some and welded them to the frame but there is a lot of deflection. The frame is just moving where i bolted them on.

    Mine bolt to the body's support frame. As do most commercial ones I have seen. There is no deflection and they are very solid.
    If you attach them to the main vehicle frame they will just bend loke those commercial nerf bars do when they hit a rock.

    I'd like to know more about your frame mounted sliders. I have made some and plan to bolt them to the Truck Frame, not the body. How is it bending the frame? If I have to run a support all the way across to the other side I will, but post some pictures of yours if you can so I can see what you mean.
