I got a quote from NAPA for the tie rod ends used with a rockrod. The Dodge one was about $30 which is what I would expect, but the GM end is more then twice that price.
Is this normal, or should I go etls where for the ends?

hey, heres what i was quoted from schucks(pac. NW)
85 1/2ton 4x4 rod ends, L and R, under $30 each. whats this about using a dodge end?so it doesnt have the hole? like shawns uses, 1 91 dodge 3/4 ton? im thinking ill use the 85 chev pass side(Right side) and the 91 dodge 3/4 ton driver(LEFT) side. my tie rod and drag link are almost done (1.5 dom tubing for both)

I was quoted $38.99 for the ES2010L and $24.99 for the ES2233L. This was from Autozone. Anybody find them cheaper?

A very tough tie rod for your front axle. There is a write up on the main page.

got my right side, right hand threaded(7/8-18) end from an 85 chev 1/2 4x4, the left hand side)LH thread, same pitch) from a 91 dodge 3/4 ton 4x4(4500lb axle, not 3500) and these will be going on my rock rod. should i make a drag link with both RH thread or R and L?
