has anyone installed the rockrod on an axle with the earlier knuckles((ie, the tie rod goes in from the top, nut on bottom) it looks like it might rub the springs.

nope, but I'm getting ready to... I'll let you know you how it goes... I think it will work OK. I'm also putting it in w/ a BDS 4" lift so it's won't be a stock setup either.

I found some early knuckles for my 44 when I was building it .I installed it and then installed my tierod.I almost couldnt install it cuz it was so close to the springs. As to what rod ends I would use with a rock rod I dont know cuz I couldnt use some that come straight off the knuckle .They would have to drop down a bit like the ones I got now so they would clear the springs.

Me! I have the RockRod on my 72K5 and yes it is close but it doesn't hit the spring pack. It gets closer when turned left but again it doesn't hit. I have only gone wheelin once sence I installed it and I have not seen any signs of the bar hiting, ie scratches or dings.. I have Rancho 4" leaf springs up front and a Rancho steering stabalizer.

Were you able to use your stock ends.I thought that it took a certain later model end that was straight.
