Finally finished! I love the size of the new bars... @ 1.5" thick, they make the old parts look like tooth-picks! Figured that everyone would be happy to stare at the pics:

The cam is in too! There is a TON more power! Can't wait to get the QJET installed! Right now, the Holley just bogs down hard if you give it too much gas... so the QJET should be a huge bottom end improvment!

Just snapped these shots tonight. I couldn't help but share my happiness with everyone who has advised me on this entire project. Thanks to all the EXCELLENT people here at CK5, my truck is STILL growing into an even LARGER monster! Thanks guys and gals! Special thanks to Wes for the cross member, QJET, and the future trade of his SM465/NP205 - and Rene for the excellent cam advice! Rene, did you notice the cam I bought (that you found) is featured in December's 4WOR?!!! (Yet another slap Wes!) Check out page 92 under 454 cam suggestions!

Looks good. If you don't mind give us a rundown on the parts and the cost of them.

Dan, glad everything is working out fine!! Can't wait to hear how the Q-Jet performs! I know it will do better than that Holley!! [IMG]

The current time is 6:50 a.m. and I will be checking for my magazine in the mail during lunch time. Hopefully I get it. If not, I'm gonna go postal on someone!!! [IMG] [IMG]

That looks great. I am with everyone else here. What was the TOTAL for all of the parts needed? How do you like that steering stableizer(sp?)? It looks nice. That is one of the auto center return ones right? Very cool. Good job.

See Ya,
Keith

So your still running a stock engine crosover? That a D60 or a D44. Can't see the knuckles well enough to tell. Any problems with the drag link hitting the crossmember?

It didn't look like the steering arm had the proper twist in the arm to account for the knuckle?

Looks like a D60 just from the size of the Diff cover alone. I wouldn't think he has any crossmember probs with the draglink dropped like that. Atleast I don't for mine. Is that a rockstomper steering arm? I guess they make them now huh? but yeah, get a close up of that arm, want to compare it to mine :)

What kind of steering stabilizer is that and how much did it run you?

Grim - Is there such a think as a after market engine crossmember??? [IMG] I would (of course) be interested! I have not experienced any clearance issues YET, but I haven't wheeled on it yet either. I am still waiting to break the engine back in 100%.

Its a D60 Crazy!!!

Steve-

What twist in the steering arm should I have?

Everyone with crossovers installed - I still can't achive full-lock when turning left!!! [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] Am I missing something? It's CLOSE, but not there quite yet...

Peter-

Thats the TrailMaster coil-over steering stabilizer! It looks sweet doesn't it??!!!! I had to repaint it red since they only come in yellow [IMG]! I paid $86 shipped to my door from http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/. So far I love the thing! We still have to see how it performs in the Midwest's slop!

Steve-
Duh! You are talking about the steering arm that you can get from ORD. Yea, I was a little dissappointed about that part of their kit. I am thinking of ditching the existing arm for the ORD model...

Looks sweet! Did the parts come red or did you paint them?

I painted everything up red to match the shock boots I have... The parts some with NO paint on them at all, so I had to paint them some color! [IMG]
