I like the Smittybilt myself (especially since I can get them at cost here at work!) [IMG] I have the front weld in kit cage, the center hoop with kickers and also a rear "family cage" setup. The rear family cage, I simply bought another of the center hoop kits, turned it around, cut 8 inches off the bottom (the rear floor is 8 inches higher than the front floor!), welded on new, bigger feet and installed back at the tailgate. It follows the curves of the hardtop perfectly! I had some top tubes welded between the center hoop and the rear "center" hoop, it came out really nice. I used sandwich plates front and rear, is plenty strong for any wheeling I will do!

Check out the pictures from the "Blazer Safari" threads, look for the black 1987 Blazer with the top off, you should be able to see the full cage in there. I also took a Steel Horse Jeep YJ Island Topper top and it fits perfectly on top, is a real cheap way to have a "soft top" for summer - less than $30 for me! [IMG] PM me with any questions...oh, and I can also get you the kits at a discount (it's just the truck freight that usually hurts!)
