I saw a televised show that had a white blazer going off the other side of Lion's back on the way down. A lady was driving and her brakes heated up and she lost them on the yay down. Motor stalled and she couldn't keep it on the back and drove off the side nose down in the sand.

    Bozo,

I must be the ONLY person on this whole site who hasn't seen that footage yet....!

I'm not the kind of person who likes watching "Faces of Death" or that kind of thing.....I heard that the driver was OK afterwards, so I don't feel guilty for wanting to see the footage...... /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Does anyone have a link to it somewhere on the Web?

I think it was on the DIscovery channel but I never have seen it on the net. Has been on TV many times though. It was on Discovery a few weeks ago during a show on how car wrecks or mostly human error.

This particular role that I am talking about just happened this past Easter weekend. It is not the same one that everyone has seen over the years of the blazer going off the rock.

Looks like a nasty roll. Not that I've ever seen one that wasn't. I've also seen the video that was on TV of the one from years ago. I'm not sure I'd want to attempt that climb.

If thats as far as he went, he got lucky. My boss has been on that several times. He says if you get out of the tracks, your screwed. Doesn't look like he followed the tracks in that picture
