Yesterday a few of us went up to work on a trail for future use. Spent most of the day moving rocks and claening things up, not much wheeling. It rained most the night before so there were some sloppy spots and my tires were full of mud.I started to creep of a ledge when the front drivers side fell off. This was when the rear passenger came off the ground and I knew I was in trouble. So I stomped the gas in the hopes that it would just pull me off the ledge and flatten out but there wasnt enough traction and it went end over end and landed on the pass side.

The only thing I could think about was Chevy (the dog). She was no were to be seen and I was scared that she was under the truck.I looked under the truck but there was no sign of her,by now I'm loosing my mind cause I cant find her.I turn around in a panic and there she is sitting on the ledge looking at me. I'm pretty sure that she bailed when she felt the rear come up.

The truck is ok it just has the chopped top look and I will try to get some pictures up later but my computer is being a POS.

Thankfully you had the rollbar on that rig. Glad you and your pup are ok. Where were you at? How much of a drop off the ledge?

Ya I was very lucky and I dont know what I would have done if anything would have happened to my dog.
We were at a trail north of Gypsum ( a friend has been working with the BLM so that we can build a few trails.)The drop off was only about 4 feet and I wasnt even to the good parts of the trail yet.

Four wheeler wasnt there this time which is good cause I'd like to only have one embarrasing screw up a year on national TV :haha:

Nate you crumpled her pretty good. I'm glad you weren't injured! Now you just need a pickup cab and you and b to c could be twins. :):) The "blue thing" is ready to come home tomorrow sure will be good to have it home again. Now for the 500 miles. Then it's to the backwoods for me.

its good to hear that you are back on the road Fred, cant wait to hit another trail with you.

Ive got a couple of cabs in line for the rebuild. This poor truck needs a break from being flogged every weekend and after I get back from Vegas I planning on going through it (again).

I'm thinking about doing a quick detatch front clip, oba, and a few other things.

Scott do you think that long bed could climb the waterfall or double whammy on OCG? I think he would be setting on the rear bumper while the rest of us roll on the ground laughing! :):)

Don't think so, I hit my bumper on the waterfall. Not much more room on the double whammy.

    For example:

    He needs that 6" lift!
