rough country lift question

    i need some info on my rough country 4" lift, figured you guys could reply quicker than the company.

    shocks - longer set on front or back?
    springs - does rear shim short side facing front or rear?

    I'm not sure what the rear shim is? Can't remember where the longer shocks go? Make sure you put them in with the cylinder down though. I'll take a look at my rig when I go home and see about the length.

    Smack on the fore head!

    The rear shim thin side goes towards the front raising the pinion toward the transfer case.

    The smaller side of the shim will go towards the front of the vehicle, as far as shocks I am pretty sure that the longer ones will go on back, it should say on one of the paper lists that you got with the kit. It will give you the number that is on the shock and they state front or rear shock. I think it is the sheet that tells you to make sure you have everything in the kit. Hope this helps.

    Longer shocks always go on the back.
