I bought my truck with them on and i had to replace both rear after two years......I put the new ones on this past fall........i was under my truck yesterday looking @ them and they're both rustier than my fronts....which are probably bad too....never checked those. I hate them

What was wrong with the rears ?
Rust is considered normal, unless it makes the wall so thin that it flexes under compresion, and/or extention.
Did you get them replaced under the Lifetime Warrentty ?
    Thanks for the reponse............

My shocks are fine, but the in-cab controller sucks.

Well, the controller is OK, but the air hoses and fittings are cheap stuff. I still don't have mine working so they hold air.

Can't believe a company w/ shocks so good makes such a cheap setup for the air hoses.

    Executioner,

If I remember correctly Desert Rat down there in Tucson will warranty those for you. There are an authorized dealer. They basically just throw them into a bin and a Rancho rep comes around and picks them up. I hope this helps.

    GOT ROCKS?

As a matter of fact, I'm so frustrated with the in-cab controller I'm going to pull it out. Will probably be a week or two before I get it done.

I've got alot of good help from this board. I'd be glad to give it to someone who could use it - especially someone who has been on this board for a while. Controller and compressor. Would probably need some new hose and fittings as mine are in pretty sad shape.

Send me a personal message if you are interested.

    Re: RS9000\'s

no fluid was my problem with the rears.....they were shot. The only reason I still have 9000's on my truck is because they warrantied them. I didn't have the receipt....since i really didn't buy them. But called them any way and told them i lost my receipt. All i had to do was fax them a copy of my title and what part #'s I needed and they faxed back some kind of warranty confirmation sheet. Their warranty department is really nice. You can also get a different part # than what you have.....I got longer ones....as long as their 9000's. As soon as it gets warm out I'm gonna check the fronts and probably have to replace those too.....when i do I'm taking all four off and buying different shocks.....so whenever i get them off they'll be for sale.....for fairly cheap too...since i really didn't have to pay for them.

Thanks, most Auto Part Places, love to deine any form of Lifetime Warrenty, they give you a lifetime of ??"s
and offer no customer support, even if you return 5-6 years from purchuse , with a sale slip in hand !
