Just had the truck tuned up and it was running great. Now it only runs for about 4 mimites and stalls.
Its an 89 350 TBI. I have a post up in the garage " I HATE WHEN MY TRUCK RUNS GOOD" and a couple of people suggested the HEI module which I did tonight but that did not help. I also replaced the fuel filter. Any thoughts would be helpful.

    Thanks

Maybe time for a rebuild kit for Malory Fuel pump, if they make them. If this one is croaking I'm not shore if I will get another Malory its only about a year old and was kinda expensive.

Are we talking 4 minutes all the time, or only after its cooled off. We could narrow things down here if we knew that. If it was doing around the time the engine warms up, then we could deduce that something is going funny when it goes into open loop mode (takes reading and adjusts to the sensors output). If that was the case, then the computer could be getting some bad info. Are you getting any check engine codes? Find the diagnostic plug just below the release for the parking brake. With the igntion off, take a paper clip or piece of wire and jump to two ports in the upper bank on the right side. Then turn your ignition on (don't start it) and watch the check engine light. It should blink once, pause, then blink twice, that means "12", that is normal, it will do this three times. After this, it will give what trouble codes you have stored.
