I am planning a trip out to Galva, IL over Memorial day weekend. I have some room to bring rust free sheet metal with me (doors, fenders, etc.). If you are looking for anything PM me a list of what you need and I will try to help you get it at a fair price.

Only problem is the change in the frame between a 75 and 87... But I am willing to find and haul a blazer body and frame and know a wrecking yard that cant get rid of there rust free tubs or frames after the drivetrain is stripped except to crush them... I may be able to get a good deal from them.

Do you still need a frame? PM Poohbair. He has a mid 80's blazer that was rolled and may be able to sell you a bare frame. I have room for it in my trailer if you want it brought out.

well, i was kinda kidding about the body, because i can't really afford anything right now, but i'm not sure if laughner's being serious about the frame or not. i'll get with him and find out so you don't waste your time looking for it if you don't have to. thanks a lot, though /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I was figuring you were kidding about the body! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif But I wasnt sure about the frame either. Just happen to know a guy on this board with an extra frame who is close by where I work.

I even have an extra 1979 truck cab now with very minimal rust in case anyone is looking for one?

I havent built the trailer yet /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I have axles and tires and just starting to plan out building it...

The cab is very solid, no rust thru the floor, or top of rockers:

There is a small amount of rust thru on the bottom drivers side rocker:
