If you have rust spots that aren't very deep in the metal, and you sand them down, is there a sealent that needs to be applied to keep the rust from coming back or will only primer do the trick? This is on the body, not undercarriage.... although if ya'll know of any undercarriage sealent or heavy duty undercarriage protectant (other than spray paint ;-) ) I'd greatly appreciate ya'll sharing with me ;)

Naval Jelly used to be some good stuff for eating rust away....and there are some acids good as well. There is more chemicals available today to completely remove rust prior to primering...

A couple of $10.00 starter kits did my floorboards
and a few other spots in my back inside corners.
