I just bought my first K5, and the rear corners of the bed are rusted through( approx. 6"x9" area) I'm an accomplished welder and I'm capable of replacing those sections, but I don't know where to get the metal for the truck bed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm also thinking about Rhinolining. Any comments? Thanks - CJ

I think you can get those at http://www.lmctruck.com.
I have heard that Rhinoliner runs when it is applied to a vertical surface, because it takes awhile to cure. I would Line-X it. Line-X comes out of the nozzle extremly hot, so it cures within a matter of seconds. http://www.line-x.com

Know the area quite well. Mine were shot. Both sides. I just bought some 12 and 16 ga metal from a local hardware store and fabricated the area myself. The box section under neath will be rusted also so be prepared to repair them. I have pictures of the area that I'll scan in later and attach them.
