Here are some pics of my rusted floorboard before and after the repair. I cut out the rust, welded in plate, POR15'd, primed, and its ready for herculiner next.

That looks killer...[IMG], mine looked exactly the same, but after I was done it didn't look that nice. I just put on some rust killer, fabbed up a new pan and used silicone and screws and put in new carpet. It'll be nice to see it after you line it.....[IMG]

THAT LITTLE HOLE wish I had a digital camera. I had to refab both driver and passanger floors, both corners behind the front seats(bottom mount for the seat belts gone) and fab up the tailgate support(it was missing). But you did a nice job on it

Dude...what is up with the before and after pics? The pic showing the rust also shows a wide brake pedal and no clutch pedal, but the after shows a 4 gear truck (small brake pedal and clutch pedal).[IMG] Is the before pic real old and you swapped to 4 speed since?

That cant be the same truck unless you swapped to a manual tranny or moved your clutch pedal to somewhere else...

He's been REAL busy. Yes it's the same truck. It did get a 465 swapped in. It has also got the bed fixed for rust, crossover I think also. I know he put a 14 in it and coverted the front to match (write up in the tech section). The boy has been non stop this summer.
    Nice work Waxer!

haahaha thanks for all the cool replies.

Very good eye Rene.. Yeah I swapped in a sm465/np205 over the summer. Wasn't too bad to do. Swapped in a new 350, did tons of frame work (beefing up), did the steering brace and weld in support (no xover yet Grim). I didn't think it would turn out as good as it did, but the floors werent bad at all compared to what some of you had to deal with. Grim showed me all the pics of his old floor, or lack of floor :)

My ebrake pedal assembly is FUBAR...so I got a complete assembly ready to go in.

Waxer...nice job on the repair. What first caught my eye was the 465 peeking out of the tranny tunnel. Obviously your 'before' pic was wayyyy before![IMG]
