I'm getting ready to start cleaning up the floors and frame of my '85 K5 project truck. The truck is from GA and I live in New Hampshire and plan to drive it every day even in the winter. Being a southern truck it has cleaner floors then anything I've ever seen up here for its age. The question is how do I keep it this way? I've used POR-15 before on my '79 K10 daily driver, but it eventually did start peeling off after being blasted by salt for a few winters even though it was topcoated with undercoating). Has anybody used similar products with better results? I kind of prefer the types you apply directly over rust, but if something else works better I'll give it a shot! Thanks in advance for any help, I'd like to keep my rust free K5 rust free for a long time!

    Mike
