Not sure if this is normal or not. I only had my ProComp shocks since Feb of this year and the paint is starting to rust. Has anyone else had their shocks rust so quickly?

That is really strange. I have never even heard of shocks rusting at all, no matter how old they are.

I take it your truck has never spent the winter in Minnesota before, that'll make anything rust. [IMG]

When I got my truck the rear shock casing was rusted completely through on one side! I live in NH and we go pretty heavy on the salt. Considering that you live somewhere where there is no rust, I would bring them back. You have had them less than a year and they are already starting to look whipped. They must have some type of warranty. Its worth a try anyways.
