Kewl /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif. I prefer a simi-automadic over a revolver, but that should be fun to shoot.

I'm pretty sure I have a rifle that is smaller than that /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif JK

    I think I'd rather have a d eagle in .50ae

Just out of curioisty, how much did it set you back?

Right at a grand with tax and a couple of boxes of cartridges. I had a Desert Eagle .50ae, and sold it. Did not like the size of the grip. (way to big IMO). Also no where near the power of the model 500. One thing that was nice about it is it had virtually no recoil. Well designed but two bulky for an automatic, and I never could fire rapidly with any accuracy. Which is what I would look for in a big caliber auto. I rather just keep my old 1911 Colt GOV. .45acp, when it comes to shooting auto, keeping in mind having one in each hand at the same time is nice. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

[/ QUOTE ] "Way" back up. I would not want to have to run with this thing, and chase a Perp over fences and lawn furniture. I think something like a .32 Waco Tx. built Derringer with a "Braced Ankle Strap", and a nice running boot. "Tiberland" make's a very nice tactical shin assembly. Also if you fire this thing at less than 30 yards through flesh and bone, you are going to need a good bodily fluids clean up kit. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif

Once again Bubba Ray's eloquent style. and analytical mind show thru. I salute you! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif You are never predictable. I like this S&W because it has crossed a boundary where, without a Federal Law change, Pistols of a larger caliber with more power will not be available to the American gun buyer. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

I squeezed off a couple of rounds on a 500 last weekend. Can you say BIIIIIIGGGGGUUUUNNNN. /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif $8 to rent it, $3 a round. Why was the wait so long? January-May..

    I picked up a S&W Sigma 9mm today and it's like a bb gun compared to a 500... /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I don't know why the wait was so long. I guess maybe because in the Richmond VA. area, theres only three gun stores that I know of that were selling them, or had waiting lists. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif How much are they in California? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
