ordered a "master" install kit for 14 bolt ff. it didnt come witth pinion nut or ring gear bolts, the things i desperately needed.
but, the customer service dept. is always helpful. prices were decent, but i ordered from west coast differentials. state sales tax was a part of it too.

I've always had good things to say about Drivetrain direct. I haven't heard of any bad things about Randy and IMO it is the buyer's job to ask what the "master" kits include. I'm really not surprised either of these items were missing.

I (and the members in my club) always had great luck with Randy's.

Had work done on my Detroit locker at Randys R&P and they gave me excellent service as well as price, Have put on 14,000 miles since and no problems. Enjoyed doing business with them.

Be careful with WCD. I got all of my axle stuff from them and the first time they sent it out they sent 4.56 gears for the front and 4.11 for the rear. HELLO?!?! Then when I called back to see how to send back the wrong gears, the guy acted like it was my fault. I had to yell alot at him for that. Then they sent out 4.56 gears for the rear. I told him about 10 times I wanted 4.11 front and rear, so I had to send the second box back. They were rude and stupid...wasted alot of time I could've been getting my axles done. They are on my same list as 4 Wheel Parts Wholesteelers: Never again!

WCD is not a place I would not recommend to anyone period. I went to their shop because they are like 20 minutes from me... I thought wow cool local, no shipping and I can talk in person and get my questions answered. They were rude, made me feel dumb and couldn't consistantly put prices on things. Almost as if they thought, well maybe she doesn't know a thing and we can quote her higher then list and see if she pays it... maybe I am wrong but that's my impression I got from them and was very turned off. I'm still looking for a local place, I hope I find one soon! [IMG]

I removed my quote so gay, vegetarian, minority, eco-nazis who love Jesus, nuke spotted owls, vote Gore and smoke medical marijuana won't be offend.

I've ordered gears, lockers, etc. many times over the years. I've always used Reider Racing http://www.reiderracing.com and have always received excellent service, prices and parts.

You would think a master kit would include everything you need, Thats why they call it a "master kit" not "minor kit" [IMG].
