If you go to the 2WD board here on CK5, you'll find some fellow members who think that lowered Blazers are trick!!! I'm serious!!!!!! Don't quite understand the concept myself, but to each his own I guess.......

Funny I would love to find a 69-72 2wd slam it do some custom suspension work. Drop a Lt1 and a 6 speed in it and make a canyon carver out of it and roast punks in honda's.

I actually saw a mid 80's k-5 model dropped in MI about 7 years ago, sickening, looked dumb as hell, deep dishes w/ low profiles, had horrible clearance too, maybe 3" max, nice paint though

I've always wanted a 2wd short box like the black one in Dazed and Confused. Except with the 69'-'70 grill. Minor drop, forced induction BBC and a 4L80E. Prolly never happen, though.

There is a primo condition 4X4 K5 in my town that is lowered and on 10 inch wide wheels, w/ low profile tires! [IMG] I cringe every time I see it!

    The 2wd K5s I understand....I would have one myself. But a lowered 4X4?!?!?!

If ya can't stop.......Smile as you go under! [IMG]

Well if you look at most of the 4wd SUV's rolling around today they all might as well be considered lowered. They have really lame clearance. I understand people want 4wd in case they ever need it. But lot of good it'll do ya if your running boards are an inch off the ground and you catch it on a curb....

WHAT!?!? You guys come on! Slammed 4X4's rule!
Next year I'm getting rid of my 8" rear/ 6" front suspension lift,
and I'll go the opposite way with a 6"/8" drop. Maybe airbags and some 20" rims eh? I'll still take it to Moab and wheel the [censored] out of it. eh?

I always digged that truck in Dazed and Confused as well Pete. Figure a BBC under the hood and it could become a real nice tow rig.

That slammed K5 with the '67 front clip would look bad-ass if you loose the gold door handles and maybe swap out the rims/tires. I'd drive it.
