does anybody in the northern Illinois area have a salavage liscense? My school owns a mint condtion no mile on it 1979 2x4 jimmy. They want to sell it but do not whant to sell it directly to me. They want a person with a salvage liscense to buy it. They said they then do not care if it is sold to me. I need it for parts for my 1979 Jimmy

I'm prolly not much help here, but why not just pay for the school to file for a lost title?

Well, if they don't want to sell to you because you are a student, then have them sell it to someone else and then buy it from that person. Why do they want to sell it only to someone with a salavage liscense?
