I'm a Virginia Tech student and was just offered a free place to stay this summer in San Francisco CA & was wondering if anyone knew of any solid 4x4 companies out there I might be able to land a job with. Any suggestions?

What kinda job did you have in mind... mechanic, sales? SF is not known for being a 4x4 Mecca but there are a few shops around. Of course 4Wheel Parts is the biggest.

Beggers can't be choosers. I know nothing about the area, but any small "hands on" shops would be the best. Any info will help. Thanks a lot. -Beck.

These are places located in the Bay Area or near it (within 2 hours)....might wanna check them out...(they could refer you to other places as well)

First off----if you are in SF you'll be very close to Sears Point Raceway. I'd check there to see if you can find someone there who might hook you up?
