I talked to the guy that owns this truck and asked him if it was factory.
He said no, that his boss had converted the Sub to one ton and installed the dually wheels and tires.
This truck used the narrow 14FF to tuck the tires under the fenders without using the fiberglass fenders.
The boss had swapped out the front suspension, A-arms, etc. for the one ton suspension, etc.
It looked very cool and nice.
And yeah, BTW, it was a 2wd, but still looked good. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

Hey Wes, what was the color of that Sub? Was it a beige color? I know a guy here in the STL area that used a tow truck rear axle to do just as you described. He uses the Big Block, Dually Sub to tow his BB chevy, race boats around....a super looking, very clean vehicle.

This one was red in color.

It also had the 3" cowl induction hood, too. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
