Yeah I got up today and started attacking the K5. I cut out floor pan, trimmed the back part below the filler door off, trimmed the very front part of the fender, and the front of the rear wheel well opening. I've only done the Passenger side so far but I'm really enjoying it. Too much probably. I think the K5 looks SO much better so far. The angle on the front of the rear wheel opening looks so much better to me than the stock opening. I need to go get a buddy's digi cam to take pictures. I cut so much off that back piece that you can almost see the top of the 32 with 1" lift in the back. When I do the shackle flip you will see clear over it from behind.

My website isn't letting me access my FTP so I slapped the pics on a webshot gallery.

My dad freaked when he saw the K5 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. He did all the body work and kind of wimpered and said, all that work I did put on rockers and fender fixing. I just said, oh well its all rotted again.

he took it. He learned a while ago when it comes to the K5 its my way. He just said "poor truck". He didn't want a lift, or headers, or loud exhaust, or new carb /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I have all of them right now. Only thing so far he really agreed with was the 3/4 ton axle swap. But I'm gonna get a D60 and go 1 ton and he doesn't like that /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm waiting on my friend to show up with his damn camera. I need to get a new one after mine took a tumble off the K5s back bumper. Hopefully I'll go get one tomorrow. I removed the passenger side rocker and notched the body supports for the rectangle tube. Now I just need to wait on my buddy's uncle to get me metal.

/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifLooking good. One of these days I need to do some more hacking on Donna's. I plan to do the rear quarter lower sections and build a new rear bumper with some side protection. Seeing how the 90 is pretty much a no rust truck now the plan is to keep the rockers since I already made and installed sliders. If the rockers ever start to get bad I'll hack them too.
