Is the clutch for a SB 400 the same as for a SB 350?
I want to order a new clutch for my 350, but I want to be able to use it on a 383 with a 400 flywheel also.
They both use an 11" clutch and pressure plate, right? SO no problems...?

I would say it would work it did for me when I ran a 383 and a 400. it's just the flywheel that you have to worry about.

    yup it should work
    a small block's a small block
the only difference in recent years was the changing of the rear seal in 86...
so the flywheel is the only thing that has a chance of not bolting up...however the clutch and flexplate will bolt to either flywheel

Flywheels from either a 400SB or 454BB, are the same. They are externally balanced. Clutches should be the same.
