<font color=blue>First they need to be on the internet. Some people like Photopoint.com, but I think that the "Free Image Hosting Courtesy of Photopoint.com" tag at the top is anoying. I just upload them to the test board on off-road.com. Once you have them on the web, copy the url and past it in between image tags like this:

    [ image ] url of picture [ /image ]

only without the spaces. Its in the FAQ.</font color=blue>

This is how you do it:
You scan your pictures and give them names, like engine.jpg and you save them on your pc.
Now you need to have these pictures on the web for them to be linkable.
Go to www.photopoint.com or visit my old page http://sites.netscape.net/espensplace On my old page there is a link on the top where you can <font color=blue>"create your own page"</font color=blue> Once you register for one of these free pages there will be a easy step by step on how to build your first web page. It's just buttons to click for background, headings, and upploading pictures. When you have completed the web-page you will have your own address. http://sites.netscape.net/ericksplace for example.. Then your picture that you want to show us will have the adress:http://sites.netscape.net/ericksplace/engine.jpg

Now if you want to show us here at CK5 your engine.jpg you just type
    [ image ]http://sites.netscape.net/ericksplace/engine.jpg[ /image ] Without the spaces

    And there it goes.

Another hint for writing long adresses without accidentaly leaving out a : or a / (then it wont work) is the copy and paste function that windows offers.
If you dont know this its: Mark all the text you want to copy with your left mouse button. Then press down Ctrl and C. Then when your curser is where you want the text to be press Ctrl and V. Then you will have alot easyer time writing these long adresses http://sites.netscape.net/ericksplace/engine.jpg

It works the same with .gif as it does with .jpg so you can have some fun in your post with litle things you find around the internett:
