I have both, (scanner not in yet) and two 6ft ant on either side of the rear bumper. When both of them are up and going they shouldnt bother eachother right?

Depends on the power your CB is putting out. If you don't have a huge kicker on your CB you'll be fine. You might get a little feed back through your scanner if you leave it on while you key up on your CB, but it won't hurt it.

I had a very similar setup in a car once.. I had 2 4' antennas (firesik) on either side of my car, one for scanner the other for CB. I was only putting out 4w; however, whenever I keyed up the scanner would always halt recieve, never any feedback, it just would stop recieving anything. Same thing happened to me in two diffrent cars actually, 2 cars with 2 diffrent antenna setups.
