schnieder dual pattern cams???

    my shop foreman is a chevy engine genious and he suggested a schnieder(sp?) dual pattern cam for my 383 build up, i've never heard of them. where can i find info on them?

    That means it has more duration on the exhuast than the intake. Many cams are made this way nowadays.

    Isn't it to help deal with poor exhaust flow in the later heads/engine's in general?? Give more time to evacuate the exhaust before the intake starts again....just a thought
