I ran the trail about 4 years ago in my K5. There were a few tight/hairy
spots but was very do able just watch what you are doing and you will just fine.

Thanks Interceptor, anyone up for running that trail? Supposed to start at the East end and meet Mike.

I know Dave is over at the other end too.

According to some posts at Colorado4x4.org, seems to be closed due to snow & not anticipated to be open for 2-3 more weeks.

    Check out this link.

I thought I remembered seeing something about it over there.

John, if I get the truck running right, I'm planning to run Holy Cross next month. Could definitely use a spotter there. It will be a Monday, can you do Mondays?

    Hey,

Mike's talking about August 20th for Schofield. Plenty of time to prep. He's going to scout out part of it this weekend.

Holy Cross sounds good, A Monday is fine with me.

A trip without John? Don't say it. Always need a spotting genius. :D

    Awesome!

If you're driving, we definitely need John to spot.

    Do Mondays work for you?

Jiminy, it'd be great if you could make it. B_to_C is in.

Oh, and I'm doing a good job of hijacking your thread, huh? :wink1:

I can make it on a Monday. If the 4x4 gods treat me right, and this buttf***er of a mechanic gets it right, the Blazer should be ready next week. Even then, with open 10 bolts, I may just spot on Holy Cross. Oh, who the hell am I kidding? If the Blazer is ready, it's gettin wheeled. Wish me luck.

I'll just be sure to have my tow straps ready. If a certain someone would get their nice new Warn 9500HS mounted, we would really have it made.

I can make vertually anyday work with a little notice. The luxury of a flex schedule. Anyway, hope to have at least the rear 14B & rear suspesnion in this weekend. We'll see how the weekend goes. Might try to round up some help for the motivation thing.

Hijack, ha - what are friends for. ;)

Just let me know a date for the Holy crap I rolled my truck Cross, I'll be there.

C'mon John, I got open diffs, we can roll down the cliff together. It'll be just like the Nutcracker ballet. :haha:
